The beef, both soup and cut, was excellent (which you'd hope it would be for the price) but everything else around it was lacklustre. If I'm paying ~30000 JPY for a soup, a 110g cut of meat, a salad, a small bowl of rice and dessert I at least expect them to bring the rice. And the dessert was a small pot of vanilla ice cream, which wasn't communicated in the menu (it just said "dessert" without any other information, in English or Japanese.) The service was also awful. When we arrived there was an experienced waitress and her junior who were extremely good and helpful. But about 15 minutes after we ordered they both finished and left a clearly new hire on his own to manage. He was shown around for about 2 minutes by the experienced waitress before she went home. He didn't know where stuff was, wasn't told what we'd ordered, and had quite a lot of difficulty working the point of sale system meaning he had to get help from the chef. They went from 3 or 4 staff members during a quiet time, to 2 during the busier hours. Since there was only him working the tables and the POS system was being difficult I witnessed one of the other patrons come down the stairs and say that they'd pressed the button for service but nobody was coming, and that they'd also like their dessert. All in all I actually can't recommend the place, even though the beef was amazing, because I've had better service in a McDonald's. I'm not blaming the guy but rather the people who left him in that position.
